After she had passed away, my son, papaw, mother
in law, pastor, and pastor’s wife came to the hospital. As you may understand, we had a difficult
time letting her Earthly body go, even though we knew she had a new body in
Heaven.
Once everyone was gathered
together, my mom (who stayed by her side the whole time) explained her last
moments and I want to share them with you.
The nurse gave her antibiotics through her IV and left the room. Minutes later Miranda said she felt funny. Mom called the nurse Miranda calmly said she
couldn’t hear and then she couldn’t see.
At that point, the nurse was in the room and Miranda’s vitals were
crashing. Due to her brittle bones, they
could not resuscitate her, but they tried to intubate. Mom said that she could tell she was
gone. What amazes me to this day is how
calm she was during what you would think to be a scary time. Miranda had been sick in the past and she
always pulled through. I believe that
she knew mom and dad were together again and that he would take care of mom, so
she could let go and go to heaven where she could have a new body.
*Note the picture* Everyone on FaceBook kept saying "RIP." I know that's a sign on respect, but for me, I felt like she wasn't resting... she was running the streets of gold.
